Hi everyone, I'm just looking to chat with anyone here about your beautiful country. I am very proud of my scottish background and would like to learn more about my grandparents homeland. I haven't had the pleasure of visiting Scotland (hopefully someday!) I'm also interested in how people feel about scottish independence from Britain.

Welcome Bruce!!! I've just got a wee bit of Scots in my background. Check out the topics under "Clans." We've listed plenty of info there to help anyone on their search.

Hi Bruce,
Welcome aboard. This board consists of many like yourself who have either traveled to Scotland before or hope to in the future, (along with the indiginous Scots onboard who are great.)

Read the Politics Forum and there are some very interesting postings regarding Scotlands independence, (look for the topic "For an Independent Scotland" posted by Sir Wohld and you will find some very well thought postings).
