It,s nice to hear all these wonderful town names it make me very homesick.My father was from Oban and Mother from Edinburgh,I have to agree with the scottish Princess about going down across the Briges to Princes street what a view.dferg do you happen to work in a distillery and do you ever go to Tain.You sure caused a lot of replies Andrew keep up the good work.

I agree with you on nonscots using the forum,just because we had the great fortune to be born in God's country is no reason to be less than tolerant to those less fortunate


By the way a lot of my family live in Livingston and Uphall,if you hang out in any of the pubs in that area you are bound to have rubbed elbows with atleast one of them, my older brother probably,my sister lives in Uphall she is married to the guy who used to be the butcher.

HI I'VE JUST DISCOVERED SCOTLAND.COM BORN AND BRED IN SCOTLAND NOW LIVING IN SAN DIEGO FOR PAST 7 YRS ALWAYS HOMESICK BUT I DO VISIT EVERY YEAR MISS ALL THE THINGS I USED TO COMPLAIN ABOUT IE.WEATHER.I NEVER THOUGHT I'D MISS THE RAIN.BUT I HAVE A GREAT BRITISH SHOP CLOSE BY IRN BRU,SWEETS,STEAK PIES,SAUSAGE ROLLS,BEANS....HOW SAD HAVE I GOT???
