Andrew my family on my Dads side originate from the Leith area of Edinburgh and on my Mums side from Drumbrae (I think) so I guess Im pretty central!. When I was young we lived for a while in Tranent ( hmmm - not nicest of areas but...) and then we moved out of town to a place called Penicuik which is about 15miles out of Edinburgh. It nestles in the foothills of the Pentland Hills and to be honest is a bit boring. I travelled into Edinburgh for college and work etc everyday and all my relatives live in Edinburgh town so I consider myself from Edinburgh. Thats about it really. Now I live in Surrey but thats another story....

Where are you?

Princess

Hey ScottishPrincess, my folks came from Peebles, just around the corner from Penicuik, its where my brother and I were born, though we moved to the Highlands when we were very young. My brother moved back a couple of years ago.

Send a message via ICQ to Reds
I'm not Scottish and I live in NJ, USA! Can I wish that I was? How about Irish? Will that count?
