Hi, Andrew! I'm not in Scotland. I'm in Cincinnati, Ohio USA. My family on my paternal Grandfather's side is of Scottish descent, claiming the Clan MacDonell of Keppoch. I am the only one who seems to care about my ancestry. Looking forward to learning more.

Im Scottish born and bred ( Willy you have such a good memory!) but Im living in England at the moment. I really miss home but I have a boyfriend down here who I adore so I guess I have to sacrafice one for the other.
Both my Parents are from Edinburgh and we have lived in and around Edinburgh all my life. Im the only one of my generation in the family to have moved south, and I am also the youngest of them all, but then I was always the adventurous one! ![]() I do go home now and again, I was up last month infact, and I love seeing all the places I grew up with which I used to take for granted before. For instance, everyday in life I would sit on a numnber 81 bus and cross the Bridges down onto Princess Street and I would see the familiar skyline of the castle on its rock, the dark stone of the Scott monument and the gardens stretching below me. Now everytime I cross the Bridges I gaze in wonder just like the tourists do. Aw heck - Im gettin all mushy now! Someone pass us a tissue... Princess |
