I hope you didn't give up on ICQ because of that "chip (big)" person.. ICQ can be really cool .. as long as you have people you know on your list.. I went into random chat a few times and kept getting constant requests for cyber sex ~rolls eyes~... so that really turned me off on the random chat feature.. but other wise its a handy messanger.. ( yahoo pager works very well too ) ..

I know what you mean! I've been in Yahoo "chat rooms" before and received lewd instant messages so many times.
That's one of the reasons I love this board! ....(And even after reading the post I still signed on as a little black Scottie Dog,(Willy), just not wanting any "complications" and wouldn't leave my e-mail address. (...But of course, now I'm convinced your all crazy! But in a good way naturally!)
