to idunas-dream:
thanks, i laughed a lot - great to find a soulmate!

to McConleish:
sorry, i´m afraid we ruined YOUR plans to find somebody on this board! or are YOU maybe the object of desire we are looking for so desperately? (why do i remember something like "wee bald beer-bellied highlander" just now? hi sanny, are you trying it this way now?)

i know i´m mean, but at my age i have the right to do so ...

Talking Scottish Lads

I've only known one "Scottish Lad" - a Glasgow gentleman. What a strange & wonderful time that was! Are there many more out there? I'm on my way to Scotland & Wales for a month...........**Grin**

Wink HAH!

Read those books too, but only after my passion and obsession with Scotland wasn't satiated by other means.

I just think the fact that there is a culture of men that for hundreds of years wore kilts and treated their women with respect draws all of us romantics towards them. There is an un-tapped plethora of them Scottish men out there and we all want some.

I just think it would be great to cuddle up to one, a bit hairy maybe, but strong, and with great hands, in the middle of the night next to a warm fire. He can talk sweet nothings into my ears all night long and I'd be happy.

Hey, I keep hearing about all the untapped resources of Scottish Lads. Surely,they are somewhere other than between the pages of books! Even tho we'll take'em anywhere we can get them. I do agree a big,strong Scotman mite be the best choice on a long dark nite. So lads where are ye a hid'in? GRIN:} "Us Lassies are a wait'in ! :}

Talking They're not ALL like Red Jamie!

ROFLMAO!! They're not ALL large with red hair like Jamie! Iain was just a few inches taller than me with very little hair...........but fascinating just the same!! He was the wildest thing on two legs and I look back on our time together with a great foolish grin on my face!

Smile Well...

I don't care if he looks like Jamie or no. I just want the warm heartedness, the accent, and maybe even some rough hands, the kind that you know they have worked a day in their life. It would be even better if they smelled like nature when they came back home; something like sweet grasses or maybe even warm soil.

As for the hair, well if he is going bald, we'll just shave it all off. No need to prolong the process.

He doesn't have to big and burley, just warm, comforting on a long dark night, and able to talk sweet nothings into an eager girls ears.

So, really, where are all of you lads?
