still plenty more Scottish fish in the sea..pity i don't have any single friends at the moment, but as you say things can change..
work was busy earlier on but it is now 3:30am

Speaking of hicksville, where I live in Blacksburg is also Hicksville...although Va. Tech is a large school (25,000 students). They're all young, though, and when school ends during Christmas break and summer vacation, no one except the locals are here. The locals are friendly, and I've gotten to know some of them, but they are quite different from me. My girlfriend in Northern Va. (where I'm originally from) is having a big party for Halloween, so I can't wait to get back to the DC area, even though it's only for the weekend. They say you can take a girl out of the city, but you can't take the city out of a girl. Don't get me wrong, I love traveling through rural areas, but the mentality of the people is different than what I'm used to (that applies to this country). I love meeting people in rural areas overseas. Hey I think the other ladies don't realize we're over here. You'll have to invite them to join us. LOL, Cindy

Yeah, Ithink I know what you mean, I've never lived in a city, but I've always thought it would be nice to live right in the middle of all the hustle and bustle...as long as you've got an escape route out when you need a bit of peace and quiet...Sounds like a great party...is it fancy dress..what are you going as...will you dook for apples
