I've recieved many responces when I am wearing my kilt around town; mostly guys-who gey their kicks at me, and I'm sure alot of guys who wear the kilt about our sexuality. GUESS WHAT: i wear it because it is my heritage-bottom line.
Sure this may not mean those of us who venture into this site, but it still has to be said

Well, it must mean something to us American ladies (if that means anything to you) 'cause look how many of us are over here? And so far all of us love Scottish guys in kilts! Wear on! - Diane

Don't know who to give the credit to, but I read "A man who wears a kilt, is a man and a half." Take heart.

I feel the same way as the others. A man looks very sexy in a kilt.

Irish Highlander,
Even though I'm an American, I was born overseas, and lived in other countries since my father was in the foreign service. My family always enjoyed learning about the customs of the people in the countries in which we lived, and made friends with the native people. That is part of the fun of traveling abroad. I lived in New York City for 10 years, and saw many people who looked much stranger than any man in a kilt. Fear not...Cindy

I have to agree with the others, but...don't misinterpret humor as disrespect. As you have seen, the talk about kilts generated lots of interaction under other topics. You have to be able to laugh. As mentioned elsewhere, years ago I dated someone from the Canadian Black Watch who wore a kilt. We would go to dances in Maine, and just to be funny, guys would ask him to dance. One of the things that impressed me about the guy with the kilt was that he never got angry over it. He accepted it with humor, and never lost his dignity over it. So...I hope you will see our poking fun in that light. (End of Sermon)! ~~Carol~~
