Hi! I am a 20yo boy from Greece.I'd like to say that, deeply inside in my soul and my thoughts, i just love Scotland.Scotland for me is a beautiful, free, wild, mysterious and dark place(like me).We have a lot things in common. On the other hand i don't like England and the U.S.(sorry guys).
In my personal life i like music(i play guitar, piano),gymnastics(like the ancient Greeks),travelling and reading literature and the ancient Greek philosophy.I want a penpall

First of all I want to say that I've been in the U.S.(I have relatives in N.Y,Long Island).I believe that the U.S is a bad, cheap imitation of the real ancient Greek spirit.
They think that they buy everything and everyone on this planet!I also have been in England and I don't like them because they are almost the same and they don't let Scotland alone(independent)...
I'd like to have your opinion about this...

I think you are being a little judgemental. I am not trying to be rude, but I am American. I think you have meet a few people and have made a lot of rash decisions. Our country, just like many others, has all types of people. Considering we are a country with a vast number of natural and transplant citizens values and thoughts range from the lowest to the extreme.

I don't think I can buy everyone and everything. I know that I am fortunate for what my country has provided for me. However, I work very hard for a living. I am putting myself through college with no help from the government. I have only my mother, and I ask nothing from her. I acutally give money to her.

You really need to think about what you say. It is not fair that people such as myself unlike those Americans you have meet have to be discriminated against.

I have never traveled to Europe, I have meet several Europeans. Some of them were nice and friendly, and some were rude and uncaring. No matter where you venture in this world, people are people. There are mean people everywhere not just America. There are people who think they can buy everything and anything they are everywhere also.

Please make a consideration for those of us you haven't met just yet = ).

Much Love and Prosperity,

Lynn

Good point, its abig mistake to slag on grounds of nationality. Sure, the stereotypical American Tourist can be a pain, but I know plenty of Americans who are just fine. People could easily make stereotypical generalisations about Greeks too (and Scots, Welsh, English etc etc.) but its not a good idea. It is as bad as saying "I don't like coloured people" etc.
