Hi, I'm a German 19yo lad. I'm absolutely freaky about Scotland and William Wallace. Apart from that, I'm interested in books (Shakespeare, Orwell, King, Crichton and everything else), writing (poetry, short stories and letters) and the usual stuff of music and movies. I also like talking about and tapping these wells deep down in us - call it pseudo-philosophy crap. But sometimes it's the only thing that makes living worthwile.

Hi Mark..your subject title also caught my attention, but what really got me was that you said you were interested in William Wallace. Are you from Scotland? William Wallace is in my family line, how cool is that? I'd love to talk to you!

Unfortunately, I'm not a Scot. Although I've only been there once yet it has already become home to me. Scotland is wildness, origin, freedom, peace and eternity. At least to me.
My first contact with Wallace naturally was 'Braveheart' but I've read some books about him since then. He's kind of an 'idol' to me if one may say so as a 19yo.
So you are you a real descendant of the greatest Scottish national hero? Wow!!! What do you know and think about him?????

I dreamt I was walking through a river barefoot, and I thought I was transparent for the wind felt like a rush of adrenaline within me....
I know that may sound hilarious to some, but I really love nature. Scotland, even though I don't live there, has a strong calling for me. The countryside, stories, and interesting history create spellbinding images for me.
If you would like a pen pal, I would be delighted to correspond with you. Personally, I love philosophy, and no one had to pay me to say that.

I liked what you wrote, Ori. I'd really enjoy writing to you as I'm also a bit into philosophy - well, perhaps rather pseudo-philosophic wittering but I'm trying.
I searched your website but couldn't find any email :-( You can reach me at
