Some friends of mine just moved to Germany. They like it except they can't use their microwave from the states - had to buy another one or blow out the current. We're a bunch of mongrels in the US, superficial, selfish, spoiled, media-pumped people. Or that's what the magazines say. Parts of our country our beautiful and we have weather to suit anyone (the UK doesn't get as warm as we do). But don't you love our blue jeans?!

Yep, I sure do love your blue jeans but I'd also enjoy Scotland in rubber trousers, so, well...

Dear Mark,
Hi! I'm a 20 year old from Central Australia. You sound like a very interesting person. I also love philosophy, I remember pondoring the wonders of the world from an early childhood. I believe in reincarnation and fate. A couple of nights ago I had a dream that I was picking out a white puppy with black spots out of a group of other puppies. So the next day I went to the local animal shelter and there were heaps of puppies! The lady opened the gate to let them out and a beautiful white dog with black spots ran out and came straight to me! I bourght her straight away. Her name is Sasha. Freaky hah!
