I saw "Shallow Grave" and dreamed I had no hands - it really gave me nightmares but it's one of the best movies I've ever seen. Your country is fabulous.

My mistake. I should have read your post more carefully. My family members who are German say it's beautiful as well. Ever been to the USA?

Nope, I've never been to the USA. I don't really crave for it. I mean, it's cool and in a way, I'd like to live there for some time but I think I'm not exuberant and extraverted enough. This is a picture to bright and shimmering for me.
Your family members are wrong. I mean, like any country in this world, Germany has it's good-looking landscapes. But it's hollow. There's nothing behind it - just colourful leaves and nice oldtowns but that's friggin' it!
