Smile American Gal Seeking Male Scot - Vacay Plan Ideas/Possible Meet

A friend and I are in the stages of making plans to vacation in Scotland, possibly the Edinburgh area (or others with suggestions). We'd love to do our own touring, visiting landmarks, castles, scenic areas, museums, foods, nightlife, local pubs.... We're thinking of a 2 wk vacation, and want to take in as much as we can on the days we feel like getting out and about, and maybe staying pretty local with shopping/food/beer on the days we don't. Suggestions?

Because this is a girls trip and we are both single (33yr and 47yr), I'm open to communication from fellas in the area that could give insight on places to go, and/or would be up for friendly conversation now with a possible meeting while there. Love to make new friends and want to ultimately have an awesome vacation, with hopes of planning more in Scotland!

....kilt wearing lads welcomed you guys are just toooooo SEXY!

Hope to hear from ya!

Well I'm a bit far from Edinburgh and at 20 am probably a bit young for you....but good luck in your search.

PS: Gerard Butler is the exception, not the rule

If you want to base yourself in Edinburgh I would try and get a room at Maggie MacKenzies Dovecot house B&B in Corstorphine, a five minute walk upto the main St Johns road and jump on any bus heading into town. 8mins and your on Princes St. Best time to visit Scotland is in May. Its usually clear weather with alternate warm and cool days. The midgies aren't biting yet, B&bs are just beginning to reopen and less tourist traffic about.
