Thank Scotsman, you’re so kind!
No movie? You know, also in Italian we say “film”
Sweet Sixteen and Gregory’s girl exist also here Film Sweet sixteen (2002) - Trama - Trovacinema Gregory's Girl (1981) | Movieplayer.it , but it’s the first time I heard something about them, now I just have to order them thanks a lot! Instead for Still game, nothing at all… I’ll try y-tube, but without subtitles in English or Italian… it’s too hard for me! I think if in Italy we don’t speak a good English is also because we always watch tv on our language, in other countries people watch everything in original language and I perceive they learn foreign language easier (like peolple I know from Romania).
What about “Trainspotting”? When I was younger I watched it many times.
How is life in Edinburgh? How do you spend your free time and what’s typically?
Ryanair now flight into Edinburgh direct? Wonderful! When I had flown with them it was only to Glasgow. I had spend 60€ … Scots are famous also to be mean, but in Italy peoples from Genoa are famous for the same thing … and where I live we are influenced by them (such as for our dialect and accent).
I live on the countryside of South Piedmont at half an hour from Milano/Milan Milan - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia and Genova/Genoa Genoa - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, but above all I live one hour from the most beautiful Liguria seaside places riviera ligure - Google Search

Hey Ingrid,

Aww I do try...

Ah movie, film, flick, picture... We have many names over in Scotland for it.

If its subtitles you are after, I have a deaf friend who uses TVsubtitles.net - Download latest TV Show and TV Series subtitles and she says it helps a lot for watching tv. I am unsure if it will have Still Game though. I have the DVD Collection in my house, which has subtitles which you can enable on them. If you really wanted to, I could send them to you to watch?

Yeah, Trainspotting is a fantastic film. It was filmed in Edinburgh, but in a very rough (bad reputation) area where here are a lot of bad people and drug issues as well.

Life in Edinburgh is great. I moved here in 2005 for University and haven't looked back since. I have recently started a new job with a Bank after graduating and thoroughly enjoying it. What do you do?

For fun, it would be playing and watching football. Especially going over the world to watch Scotland play. I am off to Dublin on the 25th May for 5 days to watch Scotland play against Wales and Republic of Ireland.

Also, it would be with friends having fun, and going to the pub and having a few drinks. This weekend I am having some friends over for dinner, and watch the football.

How about you?

Mean, as in 'tight' with money you mean!! Ah that is a myth... When it comes to the pub, we are always willing to spend money there.

I viewed Riviera Ligure, it looks amazing. I have always wanted to travel more around Europe, and I think I may have to go visit here.

Can you tell me more about https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-F...yrepertuse.jpg and http://www.riflessidinatura.it/foto/...i/DSC_7456.jpg

They look really unique.

What do yo do for work yourself?

If you wish to mail me privately, then I would not mind.

On my first trip to Scotland, I stumbled upon an Italian film company filming a sort of "Spaghetti Braveheart" movie (I think it was a spoof) at Castle Eilean Donan (near the bridge to Skye). They had a pretty authentic looking circa 13th century set-up with actors (and no doubt some rough looking locals) in period costume. I snapped a few photos. Back in the USA I was showing the photos of my trip to Scotland to some people. One of them asked me if the Scots really still dressed like that.
Any idea what the name of that film might be?

Hi Scotsman87! Thank a lot for your proposal, you are really kind!
Tell me I have to go here, right? TVsubtitles.net - Subtitles "Game of Thrones" season 1 now I’m at work when I’ll be home I’ll try to download, thanks!
Thinking about Trainspotting, do you ever watch Italian films?
I work for the provincial society of drinking water/aqueduct (front and back office) and in summer and winter I also work like barwoman in a disco. My university was near home, in Genoa I studied “Geographical sciences” , but at one year from my graduating I had to abandon it.
So you are in the Tartan Army? What’s your football team? I’m an Inter fan, but honestly I’m not a great supporter… but I miss Mourinho !! I do the same things you do with your friends, but we prefer watch SBK or MotoGP .
Well if “mean” (What's Under the Kilt? - Being Mean ) is a myth, what you could drink it’s the true!! but I’ve to admit that your beer is better than ours!!
For me life changes a lot during the year. In winter there is nothing amazing to do (cause I don’t ski or snowboard I confess I think that snowy mountain landscapes sometimes are too sad), so I just usually meet friends at pubs or for a pizza. In winter I have more time to stay home and read, I love read especially fantasy. I have also some romances in English, I bought them but I always abandon them after few pages, I’m too lazy!!
During other seasons everything is according our motorcycles, for examples last evening after work I changed fairing (I change it every time I go to a circuit), changed tires… cause tomorrow I’ll go to Misano Misano World Circuit and Thursday I’ll ride in this circuit for the first time in my life. I confess, I’m a bit anxious every time I have to ride into an unknown circuit!! And even a day on beach is the ideal occasion to riding for kilometers.

About Italy… Ohh I’m so embarrassing!! This one Peyrepertuse - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia is not in Italy. I’m sorry but it’s called in the same way “Castello della pietra” (literally stone’s castle) I found links here.. castello della pietra - Cerca con Google Sorry!!
If you would like to know more, I hope this should help you… me a lot the translation was just driving me crazy!!
Google Translate
About Riviera Ligure, I often go or here Sestri Levante La Baia del Silenzio (Liguria, Italia) - Baia del Silenzio Sestri Levante, turismo vacanze liguria tigullio sestri levante baia del silenzio, Hans Christian Andersen baia del silenzio, goethe göethe lord byron wagner ernest hemingway s or here Varigotti La Baia dei Saraceni (Liguria, Italia) - Baia dei Saraceni Varigotti Finale Ligure, acque chiare Liguria, turismo Varigotti, vacanze finale ligure, relax liguria, mare pulito varigotti, spiagge pulite liguria, parcheggio sterrato pagamento,
If you’d like to visit the Riviera I’ll suggest you “Le cinque terre” Cinque Terre - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
le cinque terre - Google Search
Another curious thing I think it should be interesting for you … in Genoa there’s a famous a castles that was commissioned by a Scottish, exactly Evan Mackenzie here the link NAUTICALweb - The Cambi auction house at Mackenzie Castle

Well if a day you’ll came in Italy and need an helpfull hand, you just ask, I’ll be glad to help you

A private mail? Ok.

I never heard nothing about that movie, I try to find something in the web, but the only movies directed by an Italian in Scotland is Hamlet Castelo Dunnottar - Foto - Scotland, Reino Unido - TIXIK.com If you want you could send or link those photos, maybe I’ll recognize actors
