I very often am a real, actual Highlander striding through the heather! I don't think many novels have them striding to remote archaeological sites, or just hill walking, though.

The reason why is because Scots are generous in nature. Not only will they give you the shirt off their back but they'll also let you live in your house for a few bob! Here for instance is a chap offering his house as ryder cup accommodation in 2014 ryder cup accommodation . Everyone loves the Scots

Most American men aren't generous or kind that's probably why Amercan women fantasize about Scots so much . Hunky men with a good heart and strong values that's what most American women I know want.

me thinks some people watch too many films

if youve ever tried to trample through heather youl know its a nightmare
