Cool Single, American, looking for.....

Okay... please forgive me... I've never been good at writing personals.

SAF (single American female), 38, seeks SSM (single Scottish male), 33-45, for hot and heavy e-mail relationship. Must enjoy books, movies, sunsets, summer rainstorms and hiking in the mountains. Must be patient and not mind questions.

How was that? Okay.... okay.... I'm sorry. But seriously. I would love to meet a single Scottish guy who pretty much likes all of the above. And really must not mind questions. Smart questions, dumb questions, I ask them all.

HUGE Gabaldon fan. Take it you've heard of her? I've actually found a tour called the Outlander Tour. I'm dying to go on it!

What part of Scotland are you from?

Heard of her? Yes, but sorry, I consider she writes rubbish! Yet another bodice-ripper who hadn't even visited Scotland before writing the first couple of her novels.

I'm from Edinburgh.

Well, hopefully you don't hold it against me that I do like her.

Why would I? Unless you BELIEVE some of the crap she writes about Scotland?!

It certainly wouldn't do if we all liked the same thing

I just read it for pure enjoyment purposes. I would much rather experience Scotland for myself, rather than just the pages in a book. And if I were going to learn about it through the pages of a book, I'd probably lean more towards an encyclopedia or a travel book instead of a fictional novel. Know what I mean?

No, it certainly wouldn't do if everyone liked the same thing. Would get rather boring, the way I see it.

So tell me about your Scotland. I've heard Edinburgh is very exciting.
