Adfundum and Holly:
Hope you are well. This will be my last post for awhile. I have greatly enjoyed both of your perspectives and especially your writing. Keep up the good work and remember to get outside every once in awhile. After 20 years in the outdoor profession, I can attest to the healing powers of nature, even after the loss of a mother and a close friend in the last 5 months. In a way, our communications have provided the foundation for that healing. I remain indebted for your willingness to communicate and your honesty. With Gratitude, Gavia_Immer |

oh Gavia, I will miss you!
I do hope you will come back soon! I was so glad you shared with us! ...i want to leave you with one more thought, if i may. I have lost people i loved very dearly too, and somewhere, luckily, i learned along the way that it helps to transform energies like grief, sadness, and anger... into other things... things we do that have meaning. It seems to me now that we can't eliminate the energies we pick up from negative experiences, but what we can do is transform the energy into something that is positive. So in other words i'm suggesting you do something with your grief.... turn it into art, or helping others (i had a friend who volunteered for hospice after his wife died of cancer), or perhaps growing a dedication garden, or playing music.... it doesn't really matter what form it takes so long as you know you are doing it in memory of your dear friend. I went for a looooooong walk today out in the countryside! ![]() Best wishes, dear. h |
