johnbearcat, I was just wondering if you ever e-mail anyone back. I tried to e-mail you and it said you did not want to receive any e-mails to this sight and I even went to far as to go to you uk connections you said you were on under the same name and they don't have you. So I guess what I was wondering is are you really there and looking or are you just having fun.

No, i don't think so, Emma. JohnBearcat has done a number of posts and it was a week after he wrote the post you saw before anyone replied, so i think he probably just doesn't know he has responses... he probably got discouraged waiting for a reply.

It would be nice if we had more action at this site. The best ways i know to encourage it are 1) inviting friends here to check it out (just imagine if everyone here invited two friends to Scotland.com!), 2)make new people welcome by talking to them and asking them questions about themselves so they feel comfortable, and 3)starting interesting new threads so people have things to talk about.

John Bearcat posts under quite a few names on Scotlanddotcom. He probably cannot remember all his aliases to check back and see if he has any replies to his questions

Far too many to remember - but Melodeon Man - John from Fife (or similar) John Bearcat - another name with an American-Indian connection..... Lots and lots and lots and lots.... well, you get the picture!
