[i]I think Druid's first two reasons are very good points actually. As this is the internet.. Who is to say that what we are told is the truth? Infact, I think it's more wise to question things, as there are many horror stories intertwined with internet dating, etc. As far as #3.. well there are your shallow people out there in this world whom do measure love soley by an exterior framing. However, I don't disagree with that either totally, as it is obviously important that a physical attraction must be present in order to continue with a relationship in a physical, couple, loving sense, whereas, if it's not present, then it would just be a relationship between mates.. and that type of relationship wouldn't be considered "Love on-line" then.. also, I am familiar with this thread and I'm sure that there will be many different opinions that we all will not agree with, but that is why we are here.. to discuss the difference in our opinions.

mee I never claimed to know what love was. My point was that people lie online and I personaly wouldn't want to risk being lied to. MY opinion does not have to agree with YOUR opinion. MY opinions don't make ME imature the way YOU respond to them makes YOU imature.

I think I voiced my opinion several times here by now. Please allow me another time...

Like Jamie I was going online to look for something I missed. I found all kinds of things and people, some forgettable, some despicable, and some amiable.

First of all: Druid is right on. There is a lot of lying on the net. It's so easy!

Many people are online because they
- want desperately attention. Beware of those drama queens and kings! They will keep you entertained by continually falling from one catastrophic event into the other. They come here for the hugs, to steal it away from you insatiably.
- want to boost their egos. The know-it-all, the troublemaker, the small-esteem egos... are to be found here. They will keep you annoyed, just for the sake of it. Finally they found a way to speak up safely! In this category is the sex talker who is looking for boosting his ego through talking about love or making love to you after a short time. That has nothing to do with either!

And
- seriously looking for communication because they don't have a chance otherwise. I found a couple of good friends online!

I am convinced that you can find love on line. It has the same rules like in real life. From all people you meet only a few are attractive to you, and from those only one is what you were looking for.

For LOVE you need more than that: sooner or later the touch and feel!

I can say I mostly agree with that.
mee no problem. I personaly talk to much in person when I drink so I wouldn't risk going online. I wouldn't want to have to read what I had wrote the next day! lol.
