I thought I had "tasted" it once a long time ago, only to discover it was an illusion in my mind and not real in my heart...

Aye but I do.. because if this is how you truly feel then its not possible for you to find love "off line" either...

Maybe you're right and it will be impossible for me to find love...but you're assuming that I have closed off my heart completely which I haven't...I know how to love...it's just that I don't trust myself to fall in love either on or off line...

The point of this thread was to get opinions...like yours and from others...which I have...and maybe I agree with some and maybe I don't...but others opnions on a topic such as this are not to be taken lightly...nor discounted as unvalid ...my expirience in love has shaped my opinion and though it may not be valid to some it's all I know..so far at least...

Not only people with open and willing hearts have the right to express their opinion on Love...don't you think?

My opinion is based on fact and not emmotions...the facts that I have lived through...as far as love is concerned...both romantic and any other kind of love...

your the one whom said this leading me to believe your heart was closed off..and that you seem not overly worried about it one way or the other...i have not assumed anything but went from your words...

I completly agree.. though like I said for someone with a closed heart your opinion is not really valid as to if its possible... is all I meant..cause for you its not possible in any form..at the moment..

All opinions on love are always emmotional.. as there is nothing factual about love.. it is not something that can be factored out.. it has no definition.. it is emmotion all encompassing...and i am not talking about romantic love at all..though it is also one of the many ways a human can love

Kattoy There is no FACT on the matter .. because it cannot be the same for everyone.. No two people can or should for that matter answer this question exactly the same...

The fact is.. YES some have found it.. live/lived it.. Love it.. so on.. and .......

The fact is.. NO none have found it... lived it.. Loved it.. so on.. and........

So really this is a thread based on opinions.. soley!

Well... tell me how you can form any opinion on "Online Love", experianced opinion that is, if you've never experianced it? Your opinions on just Love in general do not count here.. as we are not speaking of day to day.. easy peasy meeting, dating, etc... Online love really does require MUCH MORE TRUST.. lol.. then any other relationship..

Again.. How is this possible? Unless you have had an online relationship.. it cant be.. and even still.. let me stress.... strongly.. even if you have had an online relationship.. and it didnt work.. well that does not make it so that none from this point on won't.. When we are dating and are in a "in person" relationship.. alot of them dont work either.. but that does not erase the possibility of all relationships does it?

This I do feel is totally true. Love can not be explained.. It is ones personal emotions.. and well.. honestly.. many many have never understood others reasons for loving.. or whom they do love.. but regardless.. online or not.. that doesnt make it any less true..
