While I do agree with the sentiment that you should be liked and loved for your quirks, unfortunatly sometimes you have to kiss a lot of toads befor you find a half decent prince ( Bad pun I know)

The thing I like the most about being single is that when I can't find my hairbrush or the dishes don't get done I only have my self to blame. I like not having to think about all the jobs that should be shared and not having to justify them when they don't. The jobs haven't changed, I still do all of them but it is only me making the mess...lol Does that even make sence???

...that's how we are able to survive this not perfect life.
We also re-write our lives; then some drink to lessen the pain/disappointment(s); humans are really inventive in ways to lessen their pain(s).

I think it's just the fact that people try to make the best of any given situation. I know I do. On this particular subject though I can trully say that I'm happier now that I'm single again than I ever was in my relationship.
And that's not rationalizing it's waking up from a long sleep. A snap, if you will, back to life!!

I think people make themselves think their lives are better when they suck at the moment.It's called denile! I know I'm sometimes really good at it. It's life baby!!!
