I don't have alot of confidence that this will work but here goes a dream!! I want in the worst way to go to Scotland TO LIVE. I want in the worst way to find someone like me to share all my dreams with. I am absolutely fed up with the "American Way" with all of its materialistic nonsense. I want to live my life with a true sense of inner
freedom and well-being. I have much to offer. I am a RN who would have no problem in finding employment within the UK as I have worked in mostly Critical Care setting s for most of my 29 year career. I am in fairly good health, 51 years old, petite @ 5 ft. small build and have a strong Scottish heritage on both of my parent's family tree. Please do not waste my time or your time if you do not find this of a real true interest to you. All serious responses will be answered. |

Hi NCSCOT
I just wanted to let you know that I am going to move this thread over to the Personal Ads section were hopefully you may get some response... and to add if you dont mind it...that Scotland is just as materialistic as america or anywhere else...i dont believe much can be done to escape the bindings of our societys unless off course you move to the mountains and eat nuts.. and I reckon you could do that in any country...also i dont believe that another individual can give you all of these things your hoping for ..... hope I have not wasted your time |

Talon's response
Thanks for your sincerity in addressing my request. Maybe you are right ~ but I do feel that there are VERY honest, VERY moral people still available in this world ~ not the Britney, Madonna seekers. I believe that the more materialistic people exist in the US where I have witnessed a rapid decline in the value of the family structure. I'm not an idealistic individual, I have seen much in my 51 years especially with being involved in the nursing profession fulltime for 29 years of it. I don't plan on going to the mountains and living on nuts or going to live in a convent. There is certainly nothing wrong with enjoying nature though and Scotland has some of the best nature I have ever found! And to add, some of the friendliest people I have ever been around! Reminds me of the Southern hospitality in the US!
