My friend and I just recently went to Scotland and loved it. We seem to gravitate towards guys with accents, especially Scottish men. But we cant find any in NYC. Help. Any of you out there? in our city???

[i]I'm almost certain.. lol.. considering that America is made up of all "Nationalities" that you will more then likely find a "Scottish Man" just about anywhere in the United States..

Is it that you’re looking for a Kilt wearing, Accent speaking Scottish Man?

People whom live in America are of course American and therefore consider themselves American, however, in truth, America is not a nationality. Everyone here is something.. I am Italian, born and raised in America, but still Italian ancestors and blood in my veins.

But I guess, if it is a real, "so-to-speak" Scottish Man that you want.. that possesses the Accent, traditions and wardrobe.. then that's a wee bit different..

Try to attend a Scottish Games in your area.. I'm sure there the "image" of a Scottish Bloke will appear

Mistress -- it is likely, indeed, a kilt-wearing, Scottish-accent-speaking man! In the USA, they are so few and far between--what a loss of culture the Scottish Americans suffer. Here, we see kilts once a year for one day. There are Scottish games and bagpipers, too--but, as I said--for one day once a year.

[i]Well...

All I can say is.. I just didn't see not a one.. lol.. Scottish Bloke in Scotland on my two trips there.. walking about in a kilt.. lol.. well that is besides William.. lol.. but I think he just likes the idea of what actually is worn under the kilt
He he he he

But of course the accents are true to heart there... lol.. and it is such a joy holding a conversation with them..
