hi there,
I'm new to the forum, and thought I might be able to help you out a bit here... Finding a job in the UK from the US is very very hard indeed, but can be done...even for those without sought-after qualifications. You must just find an employer who is willing to file the proper paperwork for you (and pay the 95 pound fee). Have a look at: http://www.workpermits.gov.uk/ and also have a look on the forum on this site: http://www.americanexpats.co.uk/ Many people have done it! It just takes perseverance. Good luck! -kate

Give me some more information, i may be able to help.
We live up in the highlands, but very isolated so you must be able to drive as to be without a car up hear is very lonely, only two busses a day. Our family live near a village called Portmahomack, if you look it up on a map you will see just how far out of the way we are but the view makes up for it. Regards Ken |

[i]Hello Kennethwhite..
It is very nice of you to offer help here on this Thread to LadyRaven.. and also.. a big Welcome to Scotland.com from me.. ![]() However, I am sorry to say that LadyRaven has not returned back here since December 2003, and it does not look like you will be getting a reply to your post. I am going to lock this Thread now, as it was a personal add from LadyRaven.. and since she is not here, there is no need to keep it going.. LadyRaven Please email me if and when you return to Scotland.com, and if you still wish for this thread to be opened, I will unlock it at that time. I just didn't wish for other members to be posting help to you.. and not getting a reply. Hope to see you back here and posting again.. Thanks all..
