Hi Everyone,
Hope all is well with everyone. It's been awhile and I've been really busy with my daughter moving and the Juvenile Diabetes Walk in Wilmington, Delaware this weekend and last but by no means least Hurricane Isabel....boy did we get hit here in Maryland. She came right up the Chesapeake which is right here where we live. The river in our town overflowed up to the streets and cars were totally under water big sailboats that were sitting in the marinas and not even in the water were floating in parking lots of restaurants. Restaurants looked like they were sitting in the middle of the river....it was really something. We didn't have any damage at all, not even a tree or electric going out but some areas near us had to be evacuated and people still do not have their electric on.

I see some new people have joined in and I say hello to them.

Hi to Jen, Graham, Bubbleduck and HollyElise and to anyone new a big and warm hello. Hope all goes well Bubbleduck.

Well just thought I would say hello and wish everyone well. Got a few important things happening this week. I'm counting on God to help me out with it all.

Talk to you guys later,
Lorrie

Haha, poor lost Lorrie42! Never mind, am sending out the search party and the tracker dog right awa.

Not to worry - after the busy time you have had, I am surprised you can put pen to paper, fingers to keyboard, or whatever!

Welcome to Scotland.com!

I'm sure I should NOT think the idea of these boats floating in parking areaqs somehow funny, but, well, it is just such an odd mental picture. I am glad to hear you suffered no real problems with Isobel (and I still think that is far too sweet a name for that hurricane).
