Cool Native Texan

not a domestic foreigner. in fact, ill do one better, a native austinite! those are scarcer than hens teeth! i moved away though when it got *******ized by californians. ok, breaaathe. i wont wind myself up.

i am texan, and i notice there were more than one on the board, but to be honest the ongoing roping conversation was a bit ridiculous for me. sorry, but it really put me off.

i dunno, i think texas guys are like scottish guys, the ones you think youll see are pretty rare and not in the city, and not what you think they are when you get up close. they are hot and all, but you dont want to be with one unless you are a glutton for punishment. im speaking of cowboys of course, or the dance hall sort which are much more prevalent. the real ones you have to look for, and are only for the stout of heart. i have lived in texas all my 32 years and i am less than impressed with guys here in general. if you dont look like a barbie doll your chances of having a guy are greatly diminished. when i leave texas i meet lots of guys.

geez, before you kiss them you have to make sure they dont have dip in their mouth!! im not kidding.

susandel you would like a popular license plate cover here--'i go nuts for tight wrangler butts'.

Everything here is in good fun maam. I assure you I have no intention of using a rope. Just plying the stereotype for sh!ts and grins

And yes...Im a real Texan and a real cowboy...no "Big Hat No Cattle" here. Theres jerks everywhere...even in Texas. Sounds like you met a few.

I can't figure out why some guys pretend to be cowboys when there not we have them here too!!
you can find a few cattlemen here and in Aussie that make it look good but they wear that to work in not too look pretty!!!

I went to college in South Dakota and we had a Rodeo Team, with some pretty fine lookin' genuine cowboys..and cowgirls.. but of course you get the few who try to look "the part" of a cowboy who just can't pull it off..lol

I even had a 6'2" bullrider who wanted to ride off with me into the sunset..if you can believe that.
