Hello Brad,

Welcome. Yes Scotland is beautiful but you get the good and bad where ever you go in life. You must go but dress warm......it is freeeeeeeeeeeeeezing....even in thier hot weather. If you order pizza while you are there tell them no eggs. They put egg slice on top. Yuk!

Talking I dont know which

pizza shop you went into but I have never seen an egg ona Pizza in Scotland, so I can assure you this was a very very unusual one!

And just for the records, we have had 7 days of rain in the past three months, with the average(peak time) temp around 20 celcius. Now for us scots that is tropical.

Marti I am so glad that has been cleared up for me. For years I have told people about the egg on the pizza story. The place was a little pizza joint behind Edinburg Castle. And I do not know celius so I can't figure out what temp. that is. I am a southern girl and am use to real real hot weather. But it was really cold in July and August when I visited. I had to buy thick wool sweaters.

Talking aye but...

susandel that was in Edinburgh and they are a bit unusual over there. Glasgow is much more Scottish than Edinburgh!

And 20 celsius is about 68 fahrenheit
