Cool

We have all recently been reading a whole lot of garbage from rfc-scotty about the people and city of Glasgow. Let's see what anyone else who lives here or has been lucky enough to visit here thinks.

Let's share our views on Glasgow!!

You gave me a tour of the city last year. It's quite beautiful. The majority of Glaswegians are polite, friendly, hospitable, and charming. They also make sense!

I liked city center. The buildings are beautiful and some of them quite distinct! there are such wonderful places to explore.... i want to come back and get to know the city better.

Don't let Scotty's posts bother. I don't read them anymore. It's a simple way of preventing his verbal abuses!

Cool Administrators get rid of this stain on the boards

rfc Just go away and give us all peace! You have the distinction of being the most ignorant, distasteful individual I have ever had the misfortune to come across.

Been lucky enough to go to Glasgow twice. I enjoyed it both times.

Lovely buildings, modern and old, beautiful parks and very modern shopping, museums and industrial areas.

I met dozens of people that live there, in restaurants, our hotels, pubs and shops, didn't meet a one who I was unable to visit with, they are very friendly and kind. As are all the Scots I met in the whole country as well as many that were in England AND live in the States.

There is a lovely walk along the Clyde, I would have followed that a long way but schedules must be kept!

I was listening to.......

Huey from The Fun Luvin Criminals on Jonathan Ross's Radio two show the other day.

He was talking about the gig they had just performed at Wembley.

JR "So Huey, now you have finished with your gig where do you play next"

H "Glasgow next week"

JR "so what are you going to do now, paint London Red?"

H "no we have got a 1 pm flight to Glasgow"

JR "But your gig isn't until next week"

H "Have you ever been to Glasgow?"

JR "Once or twice"

H "then why are you asking me? there are only two cities worth spending time in, my home town NYC and Glasgow"

Respect!!!!!!!

Hey check that out! People who actually know something about glasgow. So, tell me about the city, I might be next or the the year after. I want to know what the natives are like, the history, places to go in the city. All that good stuff.
