James Taylor

Old hippey singer (parents age) that sings songs like
Steam Roller
You've got a Friend
Handy Man
lots of others... will have to send you a CD if you have never heard of him. Now a balding guy with guitar and stories of former drug abuse.

Hey now

You are not old and you are not a has been.
We just seem to hit these dips in the road of life. I see you making an awesome comeback. Just give it time. SOmetimes you need to work on it a little longer before the big release.
IF it makes you feel better he is strangly a hottie.

Man I am babbling. Get back to your beautiful poetry.

He? A hottie? James?

You don't have to ask me for more Alex. Now he's a hottie...even tho' he doesn't look like a hottie

'how d’you get to be so beautiful?
how d’you get to be so?
when all my weaknesses are shining through
how’d it get to be so?

when one’s illusion is the other’s proof
how’d it get to be so?
sometimes I find it hard to say what I want to say.
how’d it get to be so?

so you combed the explanation
it’s an easy situation
don’t you know?
you know.

just a wispy conversation.
it’s an easy exit station
don’t you know?
you know.

‘cause you’re still mine
and I’m still yours
there’s no one left to fall behind.'

a little wispy in itself that one...but oh so lovely.

Have you listened to john Mayer (Room for Squares)? He is rather mellow with a David Grey sound.
Can't say that I have.. but I will... he is on my list now -lol- will have to search him out in the morning..

And leaky I've tried looking for Alex Lloyd.. but can't seem to find anything.. will you be at chat Sat/Sun? If so can you play some for us?

Coldplay was at Glastonbury this past years festival.. as well as The Vines.. ( I wonder if anyone else knows who they are ).. just another reason for us to go the Glastonbury festival next year leaky

Oh and David Grey is very nice.. you should search him out.. at first I thought he was just ok.. but the more I listen to it the more it grows on me..

My favorite song so far:

Nighblindness [White Ladder]

A million to one
outsiders
nightblindess can't see
you're bright eyes or what
the time istwenty five past eternity

Here listening to the sirens
coming closer now further away
what we gonna do when the money runs out
I wish that there was something left to say
were going to find the eyes for a brighter day

I'm sick of all the same
old answers lost chances cold stones
propping mountains up on matchsticks
dragging baskets full of bones
and honey please don't stop your talking
cos theres a felling that won't leave me alone
What we gonna do when the money runs out
I wish there was something I could to say
how we going to find the eyes to see a brighter day

what we gonna do to when the money runs out
I wish there was something left to say
how we going to find the eyes to see a brighter day.
A brigher day....
