Just got back from my second excursion to the lake, I was away 4 days this time....at any rate my sister's daughter and her boyfriend came out from the city....plus a few others came so I ended up sharing a bed with my sister lol!....there is a bear that comes into her yard as it is the salmon run right now here in BC Canada....so since her daughter and bfriend wanted to sleep in the tent ...I unlocked the door for them should they have to make a mad dash for the house....needless to say my nephew came home late at night from the mill and as is his habit he locked said door prior to turning in....well my sis and I are fast asleep when I am rudely awakened by her yell and her hand digging into my arm ....her daughter heard something and ran to the house only to find said door locked so she reached through her mom's open window and grabbed her head....my sis had visions of the bear attacking her in her sleep lol and attacked me!.....my shoulder has a lovely bruise lol!...

JACOBITEDREAMER...I REMEMBER COMMUNICATING WITH YOU A FEW YEARS AGO, WHEN I WAS IN SEARCH OF MY FAMILY ANCESTORS, AND YOU WERE GOOD ENOUGH TO ANSWER ME AND EVEN HAD A FEW WORDS OF ADVICE I TOOK TO HEART. I HOPE YOU ARE WELL AND I WISH YOU A GRAND HOLIDAY SEASON. I MANAGED TO MAKE A WE BIT OF PROGRESS WITH MY SEARCH. I FOUND OUT MY FAMILY IS SUPPOSED TO BE FROM INVERNESS, ONE JOHN AND ROSE STEWART, DATING BACK TO AROUND 1844, WHEN THEY WERE SAID TO HAVE BEEN MARRIED THERE. SOMEONE AT THE SCOTTISH GAMES, BACK A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO, SAID THAT MAYBE WE WERE OF THE CLAN STEWART OF "GALLOWAY". DOES THAT MAKE ANY SENSE, ANOTHER SAID IT MAY HAVE BEEN OF "APPIN". PERSONALLY, I DO NOT KNOW, BUT I DEFINITELY WANT TO KNOW EVERYTHING I POSSIBLY CAN. I AM TRYING TO FIND POSITIVE PROOF AND TRACE MY FAMILY MEMBERS AND BLOOD LINE WAY FURTHER BACK THAN JUST 1844 AND TO THAT ONE COUPLE; HOWEVER; I HAVE REACHED A BIT OF AN IMPASSE, AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHICH WAY TO TURN OR GO FROM THIS POINT. I AM OPEN TO ANY SUGGESTIONS, SHOULD YOU KNOW OF ANY YOU MIGHT WISH TO BOUNCE OFF IN MY DIRECTION. WHATEVER HAPPENS, I JUST WANTED YOU TO KNOW THAT I SAW YOUR NAME AND REMEMBERED YOU, SO I WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW I REMEMBERED YOU AND APPRECIATED THE HELP YOU OFFERED WAY BACK THEN.
