Looking for information on the descendants of John Henry Marshall (born: 27th Jan. 1859 - Tillicoultry) and Euphemia Browning m.s. Wyld (born: 1860) married 1 October 1880. They had at least 4 children: Ruth Elizabeth Marshall (born: 14th January 1881 - Braco Street, Glasgow), Thomas Marshall (born: 8th September 1884 - Grove Street, Edinburgh), Isabella Kiddie Marshall (born: 14th September 1887 - Grove Street, Edinburgh) and Euphemia Henrietta Marshall (born: 1st November 1892, West Terrace, Queensferry). Last place I can track them is to West Terrace, Queensferry in the 1891 Census. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I am the granddaughter of Thomas Marshall and never knew him, or any of his family. HELP! Thanks.

John Henry Marshall Dunbar, b.12/6/1934@ Tillicoultry
Joyce,
Whilst trying to research my family history I found this post by you. Abovenamed is my father who can be contacted at JohnandSheena@tesco.net I note the date of your post, however, I hope you get this message. His mother was Jane Marshall b. 1894 and died 1984. She was the youngest daughter John Henry Marshall, my great grandfather. Please contact my father. He will be able to give you the details back to Robert Browning the Poet, including information surrounding Thomas Marshall. Kindest Regards, Gordon Dunbar the.bothy@btinternet.com |

Family History
Dear Gordon:
I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am with the information you have provided me. It seems we share the same great-grandparents, I know that my grandfather had a sister Jane and the dates match up. If your father is Jane's son that means your father and my father were first cousins, I believe that makes us second cousins, or perhaps first cousins once removed - I've never been quite sure how that all works, but there is no doubt that we are related. I live in the state of Florida in the US and my home e-mail is: suebaer@tampabay.rr.com I would welcome e-mail from you at any time. Thank you again for sending me the information you have, I am so happy that I may finally get to know something of my grandfather, I cannot put into words how grateful I truly am. Best Regards, Suzanne (Marshall) Baer
