Missing Relative

I am looking for relatives of my Father, I knew him as John Warren, his nickname was "Wee Jocky Warren" he was friends here with Bobby Sloan who came from Glasgow. My Father was born in 1906 in Sterling, he died when he was 53 in 1959, I was 6yrs old. He served in the Black Watch and I think after the War he was stationed in Wiltshire. They moved to Scotland for a short time and then came down to London with a Scottish friend of my Father's. They stayed therefor only a week or two before moving to Southend-on-Sea Essex. When I was about 11 - 13yrs old a letter came to our house which then was 219 Stornoway Rd Southend-on-Sea Essex, asking about my Father I think it was from one of his sons. I tried to get an address but my Mother tore and burnt the letter before I could read it. I would like to make contact with whoever wrote that letter.
