I am tracing my family tree and I need some information. My great-great-grandparents came from somewhere in the United Kingdom-Scotland,or Ireland, possibly Liverpool. I am looking for Sloane's who had ancestors cross to Canada in the Nineteenth Century, possibly on the Barque known as Newry Castle. I am also looking for any relatives of Ann Mearns in Nova Scotia, who was a cousin of the Sloane's. My great-grandfather's name was Harold-or Harry-Sloane, and I would be glad to discover his roots- parents, siblings, etc., as well. Any leads, information, what ever!, would be greatly appreciated. My parents are in their late 70's and I would like to get this-the family tree- done as a gift for them while they are still living...!
Thank You *Very* Much,

Marta A. Sloane
