Help Me Find Brian, Chris, Davey & Mates--Met on Train into Edinburgh 8/13/00

Hi folks! I hope someone who reads this can help me locate some really neat guys I met recently on vacation in Edinburgh. I took the train from London King's Cross to Edinburgh Sun. morning, Aug. 13. A group of 7 or 8 guys got on in Newcastle and sat across from me. One of the guys was in a skirt and blouse and wore a purple fright wig with a headband that had red hearts dangling from it. As it turned out, he was getting married in 3 weeks (this weekend?) and he and his friends had been on a bachelors' weekend in Newcastle.

The guys were all from Edinburgh and its suburbs. The names I got were Chris (Kris?), Brian, and Davey. Chris has a cousin who plays hockey in Toronto; Brian and Chris both work for American firms (electronics) in Edinburgh, and Chris travels to New York frequently. Brian is tall with strawberry blond hair and one gold earring in his left ear. I'd particularly like to contact Chris and/or Brian.

They will know me as "Tex" or "Cath," as I live in Houston, Texas. They also know I love ice hockey and that I write hockey stories (for the Internet magazine "In the Crease"). They also know I'm not a big beer drinker (although they like their Foster's!).

I really hope I can find them this way. (Can't imagine why we didn't exchange addresses, etc., except that things were hectic). Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

I love Edinburgh, Ian Rankin, and lots of other things Scottish. I look forward to visiting your great country again soon.
