Please HELP!

I have posted several messages on various areas on the Scotland message board, but have not received a response.
Let me tell you my situation. I met a woman on here thru one of the health message boards a few years ago.(she's from Scotland) Both of us were mom's with a lot in common. We became pals and even exchanged addresses and sent gifts to each other via snail mail. We talked via email all the time. We even talked of meeting one day. After 2 years of being pals, I sent her my usual weekly email only to discover she was not a known aol member anymore. I was shocked. I wrote her via snail mail and still have not heard anything from her. I am afraid that something horrible has happened. Does anyone know of how I can find out if there has been a death? Like is there a Scotish newspaper on line that would show obits? I am just so concerned to what has happened to her. I hate to be morbid, but after talking to someone all this time and they suddenly are gone is so strange. If there is a resturant called Lanni;s in or around Edinburgh. please let me know that as well.

I will e-mail my cousin who lives in Edinburgh. Where does your friend live and i will ask her to look up the info on her you never know she might know something. I live in Florida but all my relatives are in springburn or around the area,they might be able to help you. If you would like me to give her your e-mail address so you can talk back and forth let me know it might be easier that way.

There's a restaurant in Musselburgh, probably three or four miles from Edinburgh called the Lanna, it's Vietnamese, or Thai, I think.
