Can anyone advise how to find an old friend?

Hi,
I'm trying to locate my friend Michelle Laird. I lost contact with her a few years back, we worked together in a pub in London. I returned to Australia and my friend eventually returned to Aberdeen.

Last I spoke to her she was getting married around the same time as me in 2002. A few months back she found my parents phone number & contacted my mum - she had lost my number & email as had I. However, when my mum took down her new number it was missing a digit, the other problem I have is I don't know her new surname.

I'm not 100% sure of her husband's first name either - I think it could be either David or John.

The area code of the number she gave my mum was 01771.

I'm really stuck with how to contact her again, is there any way I can find her?

You do have a problem !!

The code is for a area north of Aberdeen..If her parents were from the same area or possibly Aberdeen
itself I could try and find them...thats if you have any idea of their first names...without first names
it would be needle in haystack time !!

Hi and thanks for your reply.

I know her family was from Aberdeen (somewhere). The last address I had for her was actually in Aberdeen (AB10 6QD). I did have an email address for her father which no longer works and his name was Rod Laird.

That's actually the old address I had for her, I thought her and her husband were renting there? Unless it's her parents place? I'll write a letter and see what happens - thanks so much for your help.

Your'e welcome...can you let us know how it goes...we do wonder from time to time if our help is good!!

Just a suggestion..... do an online search in the BT site for any R. Laird in Aberdeen...I think there were a couple in there !!
