Hello
My name is Evelyn and I was born in Govan a long time ago. I attended St. Constantine's School from 1948 till 1953 and wonder what has become of the school. I would be interested in any information on the Kayes family who lived in Govan from 1898 until my own family left in 1950. They seem to have disappeared from the UK at the time of the 1901 census but reappeared in 1904 when my father was born. I believe that my uncle Jack Kilen was a member of the Govan branch of the Independent Labour Party in the 1940's. Does anyone remember him? Thank you Evelyn

Sorry, I'm not from Glasgow - but I wondered if you had tried the www.friendsreunited.com site? Most British schools are on the site, many with contacts. I hope some of the Glaswegians can help you with your queries!
