Hello everyone,

I am looking to correspond with people from countries outside the US to exchange stories of what life is like for each of us. I'm especially interested in Scotland and Ireland (I'm planning a visit there and would like to learn about things that you do not find on a travel board) but I look forward to correspondence with people from all over.

For growing up on a small farm in a rural mid-west community, I've had extrodinary luck in life in having the opportunity to try a variety of things such as skydiving, white water rafting, spelunking, rock climbing, backpacking and parascending. My favorites right now are hiking and canoeing. My quiet time hobbies are gardening and reading.

Hoping to hear from you soon...

Hi there Adventure gal,

Ok, I have to ask, what is 'spelunking'
The rest I have at least tried to a certain degree, (barring the skydiving).

Drop me a line if you want any information on Bonnie Scotland.

I should have used the less technical term for spelunking, my friends call it caving or cave-exploring. There are a lot of caves in the area where I live and for awhile I was really into that. The skydiving was a total experience - everyone who has an inkling of a desire to try it should do so. I like to try out a lot of different things so I tend not to stick too long with any one activity. Hiking is the exception though, I've been doing that for a number of years now because even though the activitiy is the same the scenery always changes. I'll e-mail you with the rest.
