Wink

Hi-
Have anyone seen Braveheart? It was an awesome movie about the war between Scottish warriors and England lads. I've have found that my ancestors (clans)by the last name Frasers joined William Wallance, the famous Scottish warlord. Let me know anything interesting about the early wars or perhaps something interesting about your ancestors, ladies or guys! Adios!

Braveheart

I have seen Braveheart 8 times and I love it.(Unfortunately that is my idea of love and therefore given up dating for awhile.) I plan on getting it on dvd. (Braveheart that is) That is really interesting that your family fought with William Wallace. I'm sure that my relatives were related to the "crazy Irishman" . How did you find that information?
I would like to look that up myself....

In the Website

Hi-
I'm glad you reponded cause the movie is my favorite! However, I just randomly search the websites in searching for my roots and it happens to pop up on the screen. I don't recall which address it was but I will research the websites again. But if you want to learn about your roots, try typing in http://www.braveheart.com. It will share a lot of information about the movie, the history, cultures, and many more.... I hope it'll help. Keep me inform. Gotta go.

Smile Braveheart

I hear that Braveheart is a wonderful movie, I haven't had the pleasure of watching it yet. I think I may enjoy it, since I love studying about Scotland!!! Are there any other movies out there about Scottish or Irish history?

Movies...

Hi-
Try Rob Roy! It's another movie about Scotland's historic figure. My guess he was another infamous Scottish warrior who unlike William Wallance has a different story. Other movies are the Highlanders I, II, III, and IV. I've seen most of them and they're all good movies if you like some action-pak. The scenes are located in the heart of Scotland. Bye!

It's not scottish but it's a good movie

Anyone ever seen Scarface, it has Al Pacino, some of my friends and myself think it's the best movie ever, we also say it's Al Pacino's best movie. We're planning a Matrix parody that's gonna be super good.

Braveheart

Howdy, from Texas! I have seen Braveheart and Rob Roy...bought them both too! Watch them ALL the time. Have y'all heard of the books by Diana Galbadon. Over here (USA) they are the Outlander series...over there UK they are CrossStich...I think. They are WONDERFUL! Your Fraser last name reminded me of it. The main character is James Alexander Malcome McKinzie Fraser. They are adventure/romance books...but I think you will be proud of how close the arther sticks to the history of Scotland and the battle of Colloden.
Back to Braveheart...on school mornings my daughter and I have to watch the first part of it...you know where young William says..."But I want to go" We just love that!! I read an article once that did a write-up on how simular the story of Robin Hood is to the real life of Sir William Wallace...have y'all read that? Very interesting indeed!
This is my first post so I am a little bit too "gabby". Thrill me by responding to it! See y'all later!
