Delighted to get the chance to dredge up old memories of 'down south'. Briefly, I worked with the British Antarctic Survey overwintering at Stonington Island base
(Marguerite Bay area about half way down the peninsula)for two years in the early 70s. I was employed as a dog sledge driver in support of scientific field staff.
