I don't know why I exclaimed the subject since I don't have a pen-pal, but I'm heartily for them. Indeed I too would love a pen-pal or many from Scotland. I'm not just interested in someone to e-mail to, I would also enjoy writing real letters and exchanging life stories and interests. I'm going to be going to Scotland next early summer and I would definately enjoy learning about the natives since I'm so incredibly drawn to the country. Just a few things...I love bagpipes!(That's part of the draw). I also love the mystique of the kilt. About myself...I'm 26 and live in a depressed community in New York...mostly artists and old drunks. Sound depressing?..it's not. It's actually quite interesting. I have an obsession with Shark attacks...don't get me started, and I love the show Doctor Who. I'm also an avid listener to music and I read voraciously. By the way I make candles for a living as of now, but I'm working on that.
Any takers? Any Scots willing to give me a go? The correspondence will be lively I'm sure...
Yours ever so truly,
Wendy Woo.

WENDY
I AM NOT QUITE SURE THAT YOU WILL WANT TO CORRESPOND WITH ME AS I HAVE RECENTLY MOVED FROM SCOTLAND TO LONDON THE HEART OF THE COUNTRY SCOTLAND LOVE TO HATE BUT THERE YOU GO WE ALL NEED SOMEWHERE TO LIVE. I ALSO ENJOY LISTENING TO THE SOUND OF THE BAGPIPES. I AM 17 YEARS OLD AND I GROW UP NOT FAR FROM LOCH LOMOND. I BELIVE THAT PEOPLE IN OTHER COUNTRIES HAVE A BETTER CHANCE OF APPRECIATING OR COUNTRY AS WE THE SCOTTISH TEND TO TAKE IT FOR GRANTED UNTILL WHICH POINT WE LEAVE OR REALISE WE HAVE BEEN GIVEN SOMETHING SO BEUTIFUL.
I HOPE TO HEAR FROM YOU
DIZZY

GOD BLESS THE SCOTTISH
