I think my thread title is pretty self-explanatory, but allow me to give a brief synopsis of myself.

I'm an American girl in her early thirties, from the NE/mid-atlantic, and I love to travel. I love being exposed to fresh points of view. I plan to take a trip to Scotland sometime within the next year or two, and would welcome any opinions on where to go, what to do (off the beaten trail preferable), etc. I love to cook, garden, EAT, go for long walks (to burn off the calories), eat some more, and learn new things.
