Moving to Scotland within the year...

I am a middle school teacher in Colorado currently, and will be moving to Scotland to teach at a primary school. I am still trying to decide what city specifically I want to move to. I've visited Scotland and my favorite places so far have been Edinburgh, Sterling, and Inverness. I am 27 and am looking for some night life, as well as, the ability to meet people my age in the local community.

I will be visiting Scotland and England for my spring break in 2 weeks and am looking for some suggestions of places to eat and pubs to go to while in Edinburgh.

I would go to whatever place offers a job... especially if you're not a citizen and need a work visa. Then when you get there and have your visa in hand... you can move around. Perhaps I'll see you there... I'm applying for my license to practice there! I'll go to the pub with you!!!!

Stirling. Sterling is a currency.

As you are a teacher, I would have thought that you wouldn't have dismissed the confusion between "Sterling" and "Stirling" quite so readily. I'm also concerned about your poor punctuation.

Our primary school children deserve better.

If I remember correctly, from my days at school, there are two "n's" in manners!
