Aussie looking for friends in Scotland

Hi all,

I'm an Aussie lady (33) heading to Scotland (and the UK) later in the year and was hoping to find some locals who can make some recomendations and provide some good travel tips etc. I'm traveling with a friend, it's going to be a bit of a girls adventure.

If I happen to make a Scottish friend or two before we arrive, all the better. Would be nice to have a friendly face to meet for a beer when I get there, but any correspondence will be answered, and any advice appreciated.
