I'm not in the market, but your name made me smile.. I thought you might be from Somerset or Devon.

Same thoughts here, Polwarth. Welcome Scrumpyguy, yes, your name put me in mind, not of St. Andrews, but of the old "Wurzels" and their humorous "Scumpy and Western Style".

Oh, you might not have heard it but that is because you probably did not suffer 1970s pop music telly in the U.K.

Like Polwarth, not in the market, but welcome to the site anyway, and thank you for spelling "St. Andrews" correctly: I detest people who throw in an apostrophe.

But, you equate golfers with nice people? NO! Golfers are people who infest St. Andrews and wear very odd clothing. EEK!

So, welcome to the site anyway, and thank you for reminding me, albeit inadvertently, to go and listen to Melanie Safka again. I do hope that you find a good penpal. Best wishes for that.

Me, expert in anything, Pol? Me, the daft woman who cannot keep her computer running and has to give up and decide it is a disaster?? Hmm, o dearie me, no.

But I hope scrumpyguy gets a penpal (even if is the kind of mad creature who does the golf thing).
