Smile Canadian girl seeking a Scottish Penpal.

Hello, you can call me Chi! =)

Let me tell you a little about me, I’m 23 and Bi-racial if that matters? What’s my mix...now that’s a bit complicated, but here it goes.....Mom is Jamaican, Chinese and Irish-Scottish mix, my Father is Spaniard –Italian with a dash of Japanese.

In 2007 I went to Scotland to do a photo shoot; I stayed in the Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh and was very much smitten. I had been to Ireland and England on more than several occasions, but it was Scotland that stole my heart. I’ve returned twice since then and would like to visit again soon.
But, I had one small problem. No friends there to hang out with. I have chosen the online route to making friends in Scotland, because I tend to be judged on my looks. I actually do model, so people tend to apply stereotypes to me very quickly with getting to know me as a person.

So if you’re looking for a spunky pen-pal, choose me! I’m into all sorts of things from Hunting, building computers, playing Hockey =p, cooking, traveling, playing video games...just to name a few things.

I’ m looking for male or female pen-pals, but I will put on a small age restriction : 20 – 33.

Hello
There are only a small number of us who are actually natives of Scotland on this site (it's owned by an American company) - and of that small number an even smaller number may be male!

Probably if you found a lively pub with people playing music there'd be enough folks there enjoying the jam session that you'd fit right in, and make acquaintances that way, it's easy to find folks in a pub featuring live music. You could even join in, if you has something to play as well, or just sing along.

....and of that even smaller number, an even smaller number still will fit the age criteria.

The good news is that I'm Scottish.

The even better news is that I'm male.

The bad news for you is that I'm w-a-a-y past your upper age limit.

Thank you so much for the responses. =) You gave me some good information.

I put an age limit because I wouldn't imagine that if I came to visit Scotland again...that some of the older generation would be up for doing 'kid stuff' like clubbing and what not. I tried the pubs, great fun and awesome live music. Though I was being picked up a lot and I don't think they wanted to just be my friend either .....

But, I'll keep trying and push my luck a little bit.

But, thaaaaank you a ton for the feedback.
