2 Sisters traveling to Highlands in August 2009

So, my sister and I will be going to Scotland this August to visit Inverness (and probably elsewhere), for the first time ever! Foyers is actually where our Grandmother was born, apparently its a super tiny town off Loch Ness.

My sister is 19 and I will be 22 and we just want to know where to visit specifically, as in tourist sites, bars/pubs(of course) and different restaurants that people around this age go. Any suggestions would be appreciated!!

Oh! and we LOVE Danny Bhoy, so if anyone knows if he's going to be in the area in August, or UK in general, that would be awesome.

We can't wait to meet the locals too!!

Ah ! If I'd read this one first, I wouldn't have to ask the question of you in the other thread !

hi javababy
if you look at the links in the "attraction" "activities" and "events" at the top of the page youl find more than enough to keep you occupied while your visiting and im sure youl have a great time while your here.

if you get tired of looking at all the old stuff and want some big city livin, glasgow (especially) and edinburgh have brilliant nite life

check out The List - the guide to what's on in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Scotland

if you go to the festival in edinburgh then be prepared for it to be very busy and a tad expensive...(still great tho)

hope you enjoy it
