Moving to Scotland next year...

I'm from Florida and will be attending the University of Edinburgh for a semester during the Fall of 2009. I have never been to Scotland before, so I am interested in talking to some natives & getting a feel for the country. It is a beautiful place so I am sure I will love it So anybody who lives there or has visited Scotland please fill me in!
Alexandria

I'm sure you will ! Edinburgh was a great place to be a student 30 years ago and it still is (if a bit pricey).

What will you be studying ?

From what I have read online it does seem like a great city to study in. I am majoring in Humanities, but am thinking of switching to Pre-Med. How are the people there? I've heard the Scottish are very friendly folks.

The people are like people everywhere - they come in all shapes, sizes and shades.

We do have a reputation for being friendly.

Alexandria, don't worry! Edinburgh is a great city. It probably won't be as large as you think. The people there are fabulous! Very friendly. I like Scotland so much that I'm moving there next summer after I finish my clinical fellowship year. I will say... look both ways TWICE before crossing the street!
