Searching for Highlanders to chat about daily life

Hello ... hoping to correspond with Scottish Highland residents about day-to-day life in the Highlands. Visited Inverness, Culrain (Carbisdale Castle) and a few other places in October 2006, but trip was cut short due to rain, flooding, and landslide which wiped out the rails near Tain. Hoping to return within next two years with a greater knowledge of the area and a long list of locals I consider friends to give a friendly wave along the way.
