My cat made me proud this morning, cause she catched a mouse again
I wish our cats would do that. We've always had relatively quiet mice up until now, and even now we have rats under our house, in the crawlspace/basement. We have three, but they're generally more interested in eating bugs, lol. True, that they're almost 12, now, but they're remarkably active and healthy for their age. Even the fatter one, Barefoot, can really move alot and very fast, if the notion comes upon him. Also, Barefoot once almost caught a mouse, but it was caught on one of those sticky glue kind of mouse traps. When he got stuck to the trap as well, trying to get the mouse, he thought the mouse had done something to him, jumped back and let the mouse go when my dad pulled it off. Another cat of mine, much more timid by general nature, wants to catch a squirrel some day. Funny how just like humans, cats set their own goals in life. And just like a human tends to do, this goal of Tess' will probably be fatal, if she ever reaches it. I'll have to post pics of my cats one of these days.

I couldn't let her near me, cause she was wet, like she had a bath
By "bath", do you mean that you bathed her with regular soap and water, or something like what we do, bathing cats in a special kind of shampoo to keep fleas and ticks off?

Could you explain what you mean by "genealogical research?"
By genealogical research, I mean tracing my family's ancestry. I don't mean exactly museums, though thanks for the tip anyway:-). What I meant was an archive where they keep records of the births, deaths, marriages, etc. in families over the centuries. Are those kept in pretty much every courthouse, or are there major centers where they're kept, er . . .?

There's a really good college in Arizona that my academic advisor told me about. Especially good for someone going into the jewelry design/making field, because they have an entire department devoted to jewelrymaking. Furthermore, the yearly out-of-state tuition is even less than the in-state tuition for another school that's only a little better than that department in the Arizona college. $15,000+ just for the tools, nevermind the whole cost of it versus $20,000 for everything at the college in Arizona. That to me is a no-brainer. What's going to take some more work, however, is getting in touch w/ my advisor, because I've since forgotten the name of the school.

ttyl ya'll:-)

Hey Wandering,

No I didn't bath my cat that day, I guess she would go insane afterwards. I know this alittle cause on the way to the vet she was miewing in her cage like crazy and I couldn't calm her down with words. Back home again she was alittle confused, but she is back to normal state quickly. We had to put down our old cat "Tom", cause at his late weeks we couldn't let him inside the kitchen anymore and we all cried as we drove to the vet.
It was nice weather today, not as the prophet from the TV told us, strong winds and heavy rain. But we're here in the "outback" of germany get's the forecasted weather always a day later, but a rainy sunday is not good, cause on saturday I have to work on our little farm and sunday is the only day where I can really relax. Is the forecast from your "prophet" always, well more sometimes right or a day late as here in Bavaria/Germany?

Hey Arora,

don't be annoyed of me, cause it sound like I teach you, but I got to know this last year myself and I think everyone should know it. The oktoberfest was a marriage of some kings or barons and they celebrated days long in the middleage and it has kept this tradition and has become the worldwide Oktoberfest, where I, until now, wasn't brave/cool enough to visit.
Tomorrow is a party going on in a town not too far and I will go there and have a good time. It's unbelieveable for me to think that I would always travel around in campers the entire year and put down and rebuild the tent's. There was a boy in my class, he was a such traveller and he visited my class when his family with trucks visited our rural "town". Do you have some "mobile", yeah, kindof circuses?

Hi NAA,

I live here in Germany, but I love the states much so I visit every year 1 or 2 times. I know it's not usual, but I like the american people and their different way to live, from German way.
I hope I will get this book nevertheless, cause there's some problem with my card and I have to get in touch with the bookstore, but my english is very special (I have an strong accent) and I hope finally that I will convince them that I need it. I have my credit card since the first trip to the USA and I never lost it until now, fortunelly, or it got stolen. On my trips I have a wallet under my shirt and there I hope I will never loose it. We had some fun today, cause my brother in law helped us with the rebuilding and he had an belt for joimers. He looked alittle ridiculous with it at first, but later on the roof it was very handy, cause he could hang the hammer on it and take alot nails with him. Did you ever rearrange the furniture in your room or build an extra room to your house?
